Where Tarsee fits

The calls you can't take, handled.

Your marketing fills the pipeline. Tarsee makes sure you don't drop what it brings you. The calls already come in. The gap is the ones you can't pick up. That's the part Tarsee owns.

Top · your marketing Getting seen

Your content, ads, and website, or a tool like Roomvu. They get you noticed and bring the leads in.

Tarsee works here Middle · the call you can't take Catching the call

When you can't pick up, the call rolls to Tarsee instead of voicemail. It answers in your name, qualifies the caller, then hands them to you. The front desk you never had.

Bottom · you Closing the deal

The showing, the relationship, the negotiation, the sale. The licensed work only you can do.

1 The problem

You paid for that lead. Then you lost it.

Getting leads is not the hard part. Your marketing already does that. Answering the phone is. You're at a showing or asleep, the call goes to voicemail, and a buyer who wanted to talk just calls the next agent instead.

You're at a showing

Hands full, phone on silent. A new buyer inquires about a listing, and calls the next agent when no one calls back.

It's after hours

Buyers browse listings at night and on weekends. The lead lands at 9pm and sits in your inbox until morning.

You're between clients

Open houses, the car, back-to-back meetings. You see the lead an hour later. The fastest agent already booked the showing.

100×more likely to reach a new lead if you call in 5 minutes, not 30.
~48%of online leads never get a personal reply from an agent.
~15 hrsbefore the average lead even hears back.

Sources: MIT / InsideSales.com Lead Response Management study (100× contact-odds, 5 vs 30 min; US, ~2011) and the WAV Group & Weichert Agent Responsiveness Study (48% never personally answered; ~15-hour average response; US, 2014), with ~47% still unanswered in an independent 2024 secret-shopper study. US figures, directional. The point every agent already feels: the fastest one to call usually wins the lead.

2 How it works

A lead comes in. The phone rings. You get a ready buyer.

No change to your website. You set the rules once, and Tarsee does the rest, every time.

1

A call comes in while you're busy

A buyer phones about a listing while you're at a showing, on another call, or it's after hours. From your sign, your ad, or a referral, wherever.

2

It answers, instead of voicemail

Your line forwards to Tarsee when you can't pick up. It answers in your name, says it's your assistant, and finds out what the caller wants: area, timeline, whether they're pre-approved, and if they're already working with an agent.

3

It qualifies, within BCFSA limits

It only gathers the basics. It never quotes price, value, or terms, and never gives advice. All of that stays with you.

4

It texts you the lead

The caller's details land on your phone the moment the call ends, so you follow up while they're still warm. Prefer it to book for you? Adding calendar booking is a simple step up.

3 Why "Tarsee"

Named after the animal that misses nothing in the dark.

The tarsier is a tiny night hunter with the largest eyes, for its size, of any mammal. It's the right mascot for a receptionist built to work every lead you can't get to yourself.

Works the night shift

The tarsier is nocturnal. It works while the world is asleep. Tarsee answers after hours and on weekends, exactly when your buyers are browsing and your voicemail would pick up.

The Philippine tarsier is a nocturnal primate, active through the night.

Never drops a lead

Its eyes are so large that each one weighs about as much as its brain, built to spot the smallest movement. Tarsee is just as watchful. Every call gets answered, even the ones you can't pick up.

It has the largest eyes, relative to body size, of any mammal.

Gets the whole picture

Its eyes are fixed, so it turns its head almost 180° to take in everything around it. Tarsee is just as thorough on the call: it asks the right questions and hands you the full story, not half a message.

Because its eyes can't move, a tarsier turns its head ~180° each way.

Hears every call

A sharp-eared hunter that rarely comes home empty. Tarsee picks up in a warm, natural voice, listens carefully, and hands you a buyer who's ready to talk.

Sharp hearing makes it a highly successful nocturnal hunter. Endemic to the Philippines, a quiet nod to Asenvi's roots.
4 The safeguards

It answers the call. You keep the licence.

Tarsee handles only the call itself: the pickup, a few questions, and the hand-off. Everything a licensed agent must own stays with you, on purpose.

What it will do

A few simple questions, then it hands the lead to you.

  • Ask who they are and how to reach them.
  • Ask whether they're buying or selling, the property or area, and their timeline.
  • Ask if a buyer is pre-approved and whether they already have an agent.
  • Text the qualified lead to your team the moment the call ends.
  • Say up front, honestly, that it's your automated assistant.

What it won't do

The licensed work stays with you, by design.

  • Never quotes a price, an offer, or a home's value.
  • Never discusses terms, conditions, or listing details.
  • Never gives real-estate advice or an opinion on a deal.
  • Never negotiates on your behalf.
  • Never pretends to be you.

Why the limits matter. If a caller asks "what's it worth?" or "will they take less?", Tarsee warmly says that's something you'll go over with them, then sends you the lead. Keeping price, value, terms, and advice with the licensed agent is what's designed to keep the call inside BCFSA's limits, and it's the honest way to run it. Tarsee is a tool operated by your brokerage or you; it is not a licensee and does not trade in real estate.

6 Who it's for

Built for the solo agent who answers their own phone.

No team, no assistant, no front desk. If a missed call is a missed commission, Tarsee is for you.

You spend on marketing Roomvu, REW, Realtor.ca, Meta ads. You pay to make the phone ring, then can't always pick up. Tarsee answers when you can't, so that spend isn't wasted.
You're in the field Showings, open houses, the car. You can't answer for hours, and that's when the next buyer calls.
You work solo You ARE the business. There's no one to grab the phone, so every missed call quietly costs you deals.

8 Questions

Straight answers.

The big ones agents ask. If yours isn't here, just ask on the intro call.

Q1How does it actually answer my calls?
You forward your existing number to Tarsee when you can't pick up, using your phone's normal "busy or no-answer" call forwarding, or full-time for after hours. Nothing new to install, and you keep your own number. When a call comes in and you don't answer, it rings Tarsee instead of voicemail.
Q2Will my callers know it's not me?
Yes. It says up front that it's your automated assistant. It's only there to greet the caller and take the details when you can't, then hand them to you. You're still the one they meet, talk to, and trust.
Q3Is this allowed under BCFSA?
That's exactly why it follows a tight script. It takes only the basics (name, number, area, timeline, and whether they're working with someone) and never quotes price or value, never discusses terms or listing details, never gives advice, and never negotiates. All of that stays with you, the licensed agent. See the safeguards above.
Q4How is this different from Roomvu or my other marketing?
They do different jobs, and they work well together. Roomvu, your ads, and your website sit at the top of the funnel: they get you seen and make the phone ring. Tarsee works the middle: it answers that phone when you can't. Content tools make your posts; Tarsee makes the pickup. You still close.
Q5Won't callers mind that it's a robot?
It's only the first minute, not the relationship. And it's not the robot versus you. It's a warm, friendly pickup instead of voicemail, and voicemail reaches no one. You can hear the voice yourself on the intro call.
Q6What about seller or "what's my home worth" callers?
Those work too. It asks whether they're buying or selling and what they're after, but it never quotes a number or a home value. If a seller asks "what's my place worth?", it warmly says that's something you'll go over with them, then sends you the lead. The valuation and the advice stay with you.
Q7Is my callers' information kept private?
Yes. Tarsee is built in BC. A caller's details are used only to answer their call, qualify the inquiry, and pass it to you. They are never sold, and never shared with anyone but the agent the call was meant for. If calls are recorded, that's disclosed at the start, and anyone can ask to have their data deleted. The plain-English details are in our privacy policy.
Q8What does it cost, and is there a contract?
A flat monthly fee, less than a single lead package, and far less than one missed commission. It's month-to-month with no lock-in, and there's no per-minute meter. The base plan answers and texts you the lead; adding calendar booking is a simple step up. We go through exact pricing on a quick intro call.
